New Things || Shop Update

And so much more at SHOPMERRYMAY.COM

My dear friend Jarrett came by and helped me photograph a ton of products for the online shop last week! New things will continue to go up each day so be sure to visit often.

Woot Woo!

Our online shop is now open. While we've only got a handful of things up at the moment, rest assured we've got a boat load of stuff that will be added in the coming weeks (like, a whole room in our house full of gems!). I'd love if you would stop over and take a look around. Be sure to let me know if you have any questions or suggestions for us. We'd love to get your take on it.

Also, I'm very excited because I have begun seeking out events for the trailer now that the oppressive heat is beginning to lift. There are some really exciting events coming up in and around downtown so cross your fingers that we can get into them. I can't wait to get back out there and see all you lovely folks again. Finally, Trevor and I have been talking about doing a shop open house/bbq at our home in the coming months. Would anyone be interested?

Thankful Thursdays v12

This Thursday I am thankful for.....

The GROWop!!!

The GROWop in the little artist co-op I kinda run with my friends, Josh and Kenny.

Aren't they so cute?

So here's how it all began. There's this pretty urban garden (that Kenny runs) in downtown Phoenix called the Growhouse. Josh and Kenny had been trying to get their little boutique, inside the house on the property, up and running for quite some time. So I went to Kenny and asked if maybe I could be a part of it. Both the boys seemed really excited and we got it up and running soon after.

The GROWop is filled with lots of handmade and found items from our wonderful and talented consigners. It's jam packed with tons of amazing finds- whenever I'm there I just want to buy everything! I am so excited that Kenny, Josh and I have very similar tastes and visions. I love that we can talk and share ideas and that we get to hang out so much. These boys are seriously amazing and inspiring and I am so so thankful that I get to work with them.

The GROWop has only been open for a short while but things are looking good. Each day I get more and more excited about what we are doing and where we might go. Things are slowing down around here- I completed my sewing class (woo!), the Crafeteria, and am transitioning into my new position at work. I can't wait to have a ton of extra time to spend investing in our little dream. I'm so so happy and so thankful for the GROWop and Josh and Kenny.

If you're local, stop by the GROWop (902 N. 6th street in downtown Phoenix)! We are open Friday and Saturday from 11 to 7 and Sunday from 11 to 5. Questions? Interested in consigning? Just wanna say hi?Contact us at growopboutique@gmail.com.

Spoonflower

I just can't wait until my sewing class begins! My friend AJ, hairstylist extraordinaire and coowner of The Roose Parlor and Spa (Which is totally amazing and I'm not just saying that because she is my friend. It's all natural- no perms, no extensions, no acrylic nails. Let's just say their pedicure involves whole milk, lemons, and honey.) brought over some super inspiring sewing books and my mind has since been reeling with ideas. What's new, right? I think I'll order these fabrics from Spoonflower when my class starts.

Busy Days and Beautiful Things

I hope you all are having a super great day! Today has been rather busy. I got a new assignment at work that I am pretty excited about and today is my last night at Anthropologie. Sad but true. Even though I am seriously going to miss all of the beautiful things and my amazing coworkers I know that there are good things to come!

Here are some pretty fall things from Anthropologie :)

Find them all here.

P.S. Don't forget about craft night on Thursday at 908 N. 6th Street from 5-8pm- it'll be a blast I promise!
