I want, I want, I want

This recent post from For me, for you reminded me of how much I REEEEEAAALLLLY reaaallly want new glasses. I have been looking for vintage frames forever now and have collected a few pair from thrift stores and the like. I have this phobia of buying stuff online- especially clothes and shoes and glasses. What if they don't fit? What if they look terrible? What if you took your measurements wrong? Not to mention I am close to blind so getting lenses isn't the cheapest. Have you ever bought glasses online? Do you have any pointers? And, even though I am trying not to acknowledge the speeding train that is the Holidays heading straight for us, have you thought of what you might ask for for the Holidays? (P.S. I want glasses : )

  4. www.zennioptical.com broke my fear of buying prescription glasses online. You can get a complete set of glasses starting at $7! And they have a photo upload so you can virtually "try on" the glasses. (Not sure how accurate that is though! haha) I've bought glasses from them before, and I'm about to order some new ones.
